Since 2017, Yuan Rung Hospital has actively promoted international medical services in Mongolia, originating from the story of Superintendent Ko-Shi Chang sponsoring a Mongolian female doctor with cancer to receive treatment in Taiwan. With the efforts of our hospital team, we successfully corrected her misdiagnosis and assisted her in achieving a safe pregnancy and childbirth. This event made Superintendent Chang aware of the significant need for international medical services in Mongolia. We organized medical teams to conduct medical missions in Mongolia, discovering the local shortage of medical resources and capabilities, and the urgent need for international aid.

In response, Yuan Rung Hospital established the Taiwan-Mongolia Medical and Health Platform to support Mongolia with Taiwan's medical expertise. We have organized multiple medical missions to Mongolia: online consultations, free training for medical staff, and dispatched experts to provide support, receiving enthusiastic gratitude and feedback from Mongolian hospitals and patients, while also promoting Taiwan's international image.

• Signed cooperation memorandums with 23 Mongolian hospitals to enhance medical equipment standards.

• Conducted annual volunteer clinic to Mongolia since 2017 (except during the COVID 19 pandemic), with 821 free online consultations.
