Specialty Healthcare

  • Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) is a common gastrointestinal disease, and many patients take long-term medication without effective relief. Our hospital offers advanced and innovative minimally invasive surgical techniques, introducing Stretta procedure and Anti-Reflux Mucosectomy (ARMS). Combining these two minimally invasive procedures as rescue surgeries to achieve successful treatment results is a world-first approach.

  • Our hospital has developed the Endoscopic cardial sphincteroplasty, which reduces bleeding and stenosis complications while providing immediate anti-reflux effects post-surgery. This procedure has been selected as a topic for the latest upper gastrointestinal endoscopic treatment session at the annual meeting of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).

  • By continuously introducing advanced techniques, we aim to provide patients with the best options to alleviate their conditions and overcome the ineffectiveness of long-term medication, thereby improving their quality of life.

  • Our hospital is the first in the country to introduce advanced international GERD equipment, including minimally invasive GERD surgical equipment, 24H MII-PH equipment, the 96H Bravo capsule, Manoscan, 3D endoscopic systems and capsule endoscopy.

Unique Advantages

  • Bravo capsule: As of 2024, 345 cases have been performed with no new complications and a 100% completion rate for new cases.

  • Endoscopic cardial sphincteroplasty: 128 cases have been performed with zero perforations and zero infections. This technique has been recognized as a significant innovative surgical method and was selected for an oral presentation on the latest advancements in upper gastrointestinal endoscopy at the 2023 ASGE annual meeting.
