An 80-year-old elder sought medical attention for a leg injury sustained in a car accident. Unexpectedly, it was discovered that his right leg veins were almost completely occluded, posing a risk of amputation and potentially leading to a fatal pulmonary embolism. After joint treatment by YuanRung Hospital's wound center and cardiac surgery team, a " catheter-directed thrombolysis " was used to release medication.
